Dear Friend,

We were highly impressed with the presentations of Imperial Metals, U.S. Gold, Fronteer Group, Labrador Iron Mines and Gold Fields Ltd.

We were less impressed at the progress of Agnico-Eagle Mines and Northern Dynasty Mines.

On a humorous note, one of our administrative goals in these programs is to improve or "upgrade" the audience.  About 75 of the 275 present at our November 18-19, 2009 conference were outside our target audience, including about 29 present from Knight Capital Group and at least 50 bankers, brokers, public relations reps, consultants or others present to network or solicit.  Maybe we would save up to $10,000 if we did not feed them.  We began administering a $500 admissions charge for those outside of the buy-side.

We found two ladies at our "Exploration and Development Cocktails" that were girlfriends of various money managers.  Maybe we should have a "don't ask, don't tell" policy and be a little more lax.

With chuckles,

John C. Tumazos
